Best results will be achieved with commitment and partnership between client and therapist. If you engage in the process, results will be quicker and more successful.
Please keep me informed of any medications, new conditions or changes to any treatment you are having.
In agreeing to participate in sessions you are giving your consent to receive the treatments recommended by Hypnoquility. If at any time it is unclear what the treatment involves, or you have any concerns about the treatment, it is your responsibility to ask for clarification before proceeding.
Therapy Sessions & Fees
Sessions last between 50-90 minutes, each session is tailored to the clients current needs. Pricing is agreed during your first consultation except for fixed packages such as stop smoking. Fees are payable in advance unless agreed otherwise. Payment is by bank transfer or by credit/debit card. Important: Pre-purchased sessions or gift vouchers are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase.
Appointments & Cancellation Policy
Your attendance at the appointment is part of your commitment to your on-going treatment. My cancellation policy requires at least 24 hours notice via telephone, text or email, or the full session fee will apply.
We do not experience many technical problems but in the event of issues out of our control we offer a rescheduled appointment. We define a technical problem as a loss of connection, failure of equipment or power cut. A technical problem is not where you have not prepared for the session, have poor Wi-Fi or the wrong equipment. If you have never done a Zoom or Teams call before we can offer a trial call to ensure everything is working for you.
Early Termination of Therapy
Hypnotherapy relies on trust from both client and therapist. Therefore, either party can decide to terminate the course of therapy at any time, as long as this is in line with our 24 hour cancellation policy. If you need to cancel a session this will be rescheduled to the earliest convenient time. Once a course of treatment is booked it is non-refundable.
I reserve the right to terminate treatment for whatever reason and will refund pro rata.
If you are running late, please let me know as soon as possible. I will do my best to make a full session available, but this often depends on appointments following your booking, and so cannot be guaranteed. If your session needs to be curtailed due to your late arrival, then the session fee will remain payable in full.
Everything you say will be treated in the strictest of confidence, with the following exceptions which are based upon British Law: 1) If I am subpoenaed by a court: 2) Self-Harm: I may need to contact your GP if it appears that you are suicidal or intend to carry out serious self-harm. 3) Abuse or Injury to a Minor: I am legally required to report any abuse towards a minor to the appropriate authorities should you divulge any such information to me.
Standards of Behaviour
I undertake to treat you with respect and not to abuse the trust you put in me. I will use best practice at all times in our mutual interest. In return, you undertake not to harm yourself, or any other person, including me, or any property belonging either to me or any other person. You agree not to attend sessions under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs, except those medications prescribed by your doctor. If you do come to sessions under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs, or demonstrate violent/abusive behaviour, I reserve the right to cancel the session and refuse any further therapy sessions.
In order to ensure continued best practice, I receive regular clinical supervision of my work with clients. During supervision it may be necessary to review your treatment but any reference that could allow you to be identified is removed.
Growing and maintaining my reputation as a successful hypnotherapist is extremely important to me. Although I make it clear from the first session that I cannot guarantee results, I would like all my clients to be completely satisfied.
All therapies provided by Hypnoquility are in accordance with applicable English laws, standards and regulations, rather than any local laws a remote online client may reside. If this is not acceptable, then you must raise this in writing before starting treatment.
By agreeing to online therapy with Hypnoquility, you are agreeing that any dispute with Hypnoquility shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales and each party agrees to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
